Top 3 made up of Turk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodafone, largest top 500 IT Companies have been announced. Results of Top 500 IT survey, 14th of which is organized this year with the sponsorship of Interpromedia and which is the only comprehensive survey in the field of information technology in Turkey, have been announced with a ceremony. According to Top 500 IT Companies Survey Sales revenue results, top three are Turk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodafone. In the survey, the companies were awarded with plaques in nine basic categories by their fields of activity along with their hardware, software and service revenues. According to IT 500 results, IT market of Turkey has grown 13,5% in 2012 and the IT market is expected to reach TL-61,7 billion in 2013
“IT 500 Ceremony”, at which 2013 targets of the CEOs were announced as well as top 500 IT companies of Turkey, was held at Grand Cevahir Hotel on 24 June 2013. At IT 500, in which the companies are listed by their net sales revenues, as AKGUN Group we feel right proud of being in top 10 as the Turkey Based Manufacturer in Software category.
Plaques Presented in Nine Basic Categories.
At the ceremony, plaques were awarded to the winners of 68 categories under hardware, software, service and special section captions in addition to top 10 companies by their 2012 net sales revenues.
Practice of companies’ identifying their own categories, which started last year within the scope of survey, was also in place this year. The companies were awarded in nine basic categories by their fields of activity in addition to hardware and software service revenues of the companies in the survey.
