AKGUN Service Contribution Plaque and Certificate Ceremony for the Foreign Trainings Realized at AKGUN Plaza Ahmet Akgun Conference Hall…
Following the innovations at the same time with the world and leading them in our country, AKGUN Group presented the certificates of the foreign trainings provided to its personnel at the “Information Technology for Advance in Economy” ceremony organized with the attendance of National and International senior representatives and all AKGUN personnel.
Attracting a great deal of attention from the participants, the award ceremony started with the opening speech by AKGUN Group Chairman Temel Akgün. Certificates and service achievement plaques were presented at the award ceremony, to which Assistant General Manager, R&D Coordinator and Sales and Marketing Coordinates attended as speakers.

Delivering the opening speech of the ceremony, AKGUN Group Chairman Temel AKGUN emphasized that information technologies increased their impact in economic and social areas and have become the most efficient weapon to establish the economies of our day and strong economic of future. Mr. AKGUN continued as follows: “Having put its signature under radical changes in the field of health for 29 years, our firm provides service to the healthcare and public institutions in Turkey. At the point reached today, patient information in global scale is accessible. Our aim in the global world; is to facilitate human life and put our signature under unique projects. We have opened a new area in healthcare provision with the Computer Assisted Diagnosis in Lung X-ray Images Project, which is one of the R&D projects on which we are currently working. This project allows the use of computer programs to avoid missing cancer cases. Our R&D Project we call as Lung CAD attracts the attention of the physician and radiologist to the nodules overlooked and allows early detection of cancer. Another project of ours is DICOM Compatible Breast Cancer Decision Support System Project and will contribute to prolonging the lifetime by diagnosing breast cancer at an early stage. The development of this project has been completed and it will be offered to the market in the coming days.

Following the speech by our Chairman and other speakers, personnel of the units received “Service Achievement Plaque” from AKGUN Group Chairman Temel Akgun due to their contribution to AKGUN Group family and certificates of AKGUN personnel to have successfully completed the domestic and foreign training programmes were presented.
