We attended the 39th National Informatics Congress held by the Informatics Association of Turkey on 15 – 16 December 2022 as the Gold Sponsor.
A large number of managers and employees of the public and private sector, industrialists and businessmen, academicians, entrepreneurs and students attended the event with the main theme “Human, Technology and Metaverse: In the 2nd Century.”.
Digitalization accelerated by the covid-19 pandemic process and opportunities created by digital transformation and threats posed by it as well as metaverse and its applications were discussed at various panels at the event.
Within this scope, our Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Ahmet Hamdi ATALAY took part at the panel on «Cybersecurity Approaches in Metaverse Journey». Mr. Ahmet Hamdi ATALAY said in his speech that “The importance of cyber security is increasing day by day and the global cost of cybercrime has reached trillions of dollars”. Emphasizing that the approaches on this issue should change, Mr. ATALAY also stated that the “Zero Trust” approach needs to be adopted”.
Kübra AKGÜN KAVZOĞLU, Our Assistant Software Manager, was awarded with a plaque on behalf of AKGUN at the Award Ceremony organized at the end of the event.
